What is Focused Ultrasound (HI-FU)?

HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound), which stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound Energy, is an innovative treatment method that triggers collagen production in the subcutaneous tissues by using Ultracel sound waves, thus creating tightening and tension in the face, neck and décolleté area.

HI-FU treatment, which is one of the most effective and successful methods among non-surgical facial rejuvenation applications, whose reliability has been proven by scientific studies, uses ultrasound as energy, that is, a sound energy that is too high for our ears to hear.

How is Focused Ultrasound (HI-FU) Applied?

The sound waves produced by Ultracel are focused on targets at the desired depth in the lower layers of the skin, subcutaneous fat and membranous muscle layers called SMAS (fascia tissue), without damaging the skin surface, and heat damage is achieved. A more taut skin is obtained by tightening the SMAS with the heat damage, thinning effect in the fat tissue and lifting effect with the restructured collagen layer in the skin.

HI-FU application does not require anesthesia; It is carried out by touching the ultrasound head to the skin. Other methods applied in skin rejuvenation cannot go below the superficial layer of the skin. HI-FU technology makes it possible to reach the deep layers of the skin 3 - 4.5 mm below.

Fine wrinkles around the eyes and lips are removed with 1.5 - 2 mm nozzles, except for the nozzles with a range of 3 - 4.5 mm in the face area. For the body, regional sagging is eliminated with 6 - 9 - 11- and 13-mm focused heads. HI-FU reaches the points at the desired depth, heats the subcutaneous connective tissues with the effect of focused intensified ultrasound, triggers subcutaneous recovery and new collagen tissue formation.
